Pregnancy Yoga Retreat

Preparing you for birth and the fourth trimester

Join me on Saturday 1st July 10am-1pm for three hours of pregnancy yoga, breathing techniques, post-partum planning and relaxation (and most importantly - snacks).

Spend the morning moving your body and soothing your mind, preparing for the birth of your baby and your post-natal recovery.

My aim is that you leave feeling relaxed, recharged and ready to meet your baby.

It will be part workshop/part retreat... I want to teach you practical tools that you can use during birth and help you in your post-natal recovery.   But I also want you to feel supported right now during what can feel like an overwhelming transition, and so relaxed that you float away home in a zen-like state.

Client Testimonial

“From the minute my waters broke, I remained calm and in control. I was able to breathe through my contractions with a little help from gas and air, staying off my back letting gravity play its part.

Without having the tools, techniques and experiences you shared I wouldn’t have the most amazing group of mum friends but also what I needed to reflect on to make this birthing experience memorable and something we will cherish forever. You are truly wonderful at what you do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you”

My Births & Post-Natal Recovery

If you speak to anyone that has attended my pregnancy yoga classes, they will tell you how passionate I am about preparing people for birth and post-birth recovery.

I have birthed two children - my first was not how I hoped it would go and it took me a while to process mentally and recover physically.  By the time I had my second, I had been a pregnancy and post-natal yoga teacher for a few years.  Everything I taught I put into practice and I had my dream home water birth (truly one of the best days of my life!).

My post-birth recovery was MUCH easier after my second, even with a three year old to look after.  I often find that people spend so much time focused on the birth itself that they forget to plan for immediately after.  That's why I'll share my best recovery tips, teach you breath and pelvic floor exercises that you can start doing as soon as you feel ready, and gentle yoga for when you want to start moving your body in a way that is safe and will encourage recovery.

I do not promote one kind of birth as being better than another.  Everything I have learned and will teach you, will help you have a positive birth - whatever that looks like.  What I care about most, is that you feel supported and empowered in the decisions you make about your birth.

I'm genuinely so excited about this retreat - I really hope you'll join me!
